Ref. Harry Fetsick- Thanks to Dan Reeves this week for letting me know that Harry is now home! I spoke with Harry Friday. He is having PT at his residence and they are preparing to move to another county. He doesn’t have the address yet but I’ll post it as soon as I get it. I know he’d love to hear from the members.
Remember Harry and his family in your prayers as they make this transition in moving and his continued progress health wise.
May we all take some time this weekend and reflect upon what Memorial Day means.
This day is celebrated by taking the time to remember those that have sacrificed their lives for this great nation of ours throughout ALL of the wars and conflicts it has been through.
May God continue to bless America!
Ref- Bill & Susan Dahlin- I spoke with Bill this afternoon and he told me he got home today from the hospital around 1:30p.m. today. One of his meds made him nauseated but after speaking with the Dr. it was normal. (He's now splitting the dose.)
The other good news is that his wife Susan has been discharged and is home now too. Let's give thanks for this and pray they won't have to return! Continue to keep them in your prayers.

"Dear Family, Friends and Faithful in Christ,
My single heart stint procedure was a success yesterday. I had to lay still for about an hour in the preparation/recovery room post-op. My heart doctor came by this morning and said I'm okay to be released today - probably after lunch and after all the charges are totaled up. Susan may also be released this afternoon. Her esophagus sphincter- upper stomach, post-op recovery was difficult. Oh! And yes! In a hospital gown one is all ready "to go" - except outside!!!
Grateful for each of you,
Brother Bill
Therefore while receiving an unshakable kingdom (God’s), let us have GRATITUDE, through which we may worship God pleasingly, with reverence and awe. Hebrews 12:28 DNLT"

Ref.-BILL & SUSAN DAHLIN- As previously mentioned Susan Dahlin is still in the hospital after having surgery. Bill was scheduled to have stints this past Tuesday. It was postponed due to the infection on his leg and still in hospital. When I spoke with him the following Dr.s ,oncologist, kidney, and cardiologists were consulting along with the attending physcian. (His kidneys are possibly going into stage four and white blood count is up as well.) He hopes they will give him a date and time for his procedure.
Bill's cell phone is 817-903-6548. Bill is still in good spirits and still strong in his Faith. He and Susan continue to need your prayers during this time. He is in ARLINGTON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, Room 5017, Arlington, TX Remember calls, cards, emails ,and prayer goes a long way!
ref. BILL & SUSAN DAHLIN- I received this this morning from Bill.
" Susan had an esophageal - stomach operation early this afternoon. Daughter Cindy is with her. Susan is suffering from post operation pain and is taking pain medicine 💊. I just got off the phone with Susan and Cindy after a very brief conversation and prayer. I visited with her late yesterday afternoon with Tim and Cindy. I'm staying home as I'm still recovering from my four day hospital stay and am waiting to have an angioplasty, heart artery stint operation early Tuesday morning. Thanks for prayers for Susan.

Ref-BILL &SUSAN DAHLIN- "To all my faithful men and women of prayer. Pray for Susan.
Susan has suffered many years with her lower esophagus hiatal hernia condition.
Different acidic foods (tomatoes) have often caused her pain and suffering, especially while trying to sleep.
Susan called me this afternoon and said she is considering an operation on her lower esophagus and upper stomach condition. This condition must now be addressed regardless of her cancer treatment and its related difficult side effects for Susan." In Christ for Christ,
Brother Bill

Ref-BILL DAHLIN & Wife- I spoke with Bill a few minutes ago. As he said, ”We’ve got a Catch 22.” He was released yesterday from the hospital and still has to return next week for stint procedure. Last night Susan, his wife who is recovering from breast cancer surgery, had to go back to the ER. She’s having problems with the meds and possibly some internal problems as well. She is still in the hospital as of this notice.

REF. _BILL DAHLIN. I received the following email from Bill Dahlin this morning. Please keep this man and his wife in your prayers.
"in, Susan. Waiting on room in AMH ER. The ride up was a little rough in the ambulance 🚑 and my heart ❤️ started hurting. It’s calmed down after the EMT gave me four chewable aspirins. The doctor gave me a chest x-ray - but I’m in here for my leg 🦵swelling and infection -this time - this week. Had an IV inserted for my antibiotic drip💧. Resting.
Thanks for your help.
William 💕
I went to my dermatologist’s this afternoon to follow up on my right leg’s treatment and tell them about my symptoms since my appointment last week. I have an infection in my right
> leg with pain, swelling and redness. My thinking is foggy and I’m unstable on my feet and tired and have been nauseous but I have been able to eat okay yesterday and today. I was advised to go to a hospital ER for treatment - for a number of days - which were nine days in April last year.

Ref. Harry Fetsick- I (finally) got to speak with Harry today for about 20 minutes. He is still in the rehab center (see previous notices) Oakmont, PA. He and Rosie are scheduled to have a meeting with the physical therapy people sometimes this week. His therapist says he’s doing 100% of what is being asked for him to do in therapy. He told me he thought the VA was helping with him and Rosie in the facility but wasn’t sure. He sounded happy to hear from me and asked that other members call him as well.
We closed with prayer. (When calling the facility, 412-828-5600, ask the keyboard personnel to connect you to the nurse’s station near room 1124. Once they’ve answered ask them to tell Harry to either call your number or take a phone to him. The ringer on his phone doesn’t work) Remember cards, calls, emails, and prayers go a long way!

Ref-HARRY FETSICK: I contacted Rosie Fetsick today, after being notified by Dan Reeves yesterday, that Harry Fetsick was back in the hospital. Rosie told me that he had chest pains on Saturday night and was taken to the hospital. After a series of tests they confirmed there was no heart attack.
Harry was moved this morning to a rehab center due to weakness. She said he’d love to hear from the members and he was very down. (The facility address is below. You have to go through the main number and ask to be transferred to his room.) Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Hi, Richard.
Thanks for you your email. Susan is doing quite well after her second surgery last Wednesday to remove some cancerous flesh residue around the area on which a lumpectomy was performed about the weeks ago. She may require radiation or chemical treatment. My fourth stint operation last Monday turned out to be day surgery - in by 6 am and out by 1 pm. The 50 to 60 percent closed artery was too small (1.5 mm diameter) to insert a stint into. So, it looks like I’ll continue to have to take it quite easy and use nitroglycerin tabs when necessary whenever angina pain gets sharp. I stay pretty tired. Maybe there are other heart treatment’s that may help. The blockage and small artery size are probably not severe enough to warrant open heart surgery. I went to a wound care specialist yesterday about my right leg’s inside ankle clear seepage -from a skinless 3” by 4” area since November. Since it wax not a bleeding, open flesh wound, they are not able to help me. I’ll continue with my long time dermatologist with a followup appointment next Monday. Keeping it from getting severely infected is my main priority.
Richard, Thanks for your concern and prayers, Bill- brother in the Lord.

Ref. Susan Dahlin (Bill's wife) Hi, Richard.
Yes, Susan’s left breast mastectomy was for cancer. So - my messages go to your SPAM. Special People Addressing Me!
Got a prayer note from Dan Reeves. No doubt you put something out on the internet. I think he mentioned Florida. We just got home with my daughter Cynthia chauffeuring is from the hospital in a cool to cold rainfall. Susan is doing fantastic. Somehow, someway or something, successfully addressed the significant pain that she was having in her chest and shoulders for the last four or five months that seemed like a heart attack. She had gone to the hospital three times with it. Lord, we humbly acknowledge your love and care - in answer to our prayers for wife Susan including those of the 17th Artillery Regiment Association! On April 2nd, I’ll be going back to the same hospital for my fourth stint insertion procedure.
Prayer and praise allow us to keep advancing in age, Richard. Praise God! Amen.
