Ref. HARRY FETSICK; I spoke with Harry today. He has an appointment with a cancer Dr. today for a nodule on one of his lungs. We had prayer together and he as well wants to asks for prayers from members that it comes up benign.

Ref. HARRY FETSICK- I spoke with Harry this morning. He wanted to thank all of those who attended the reunion and signed the card to him. He stated he was sorry that he missed it and hoped all were doing well and had a great time. He also wanted to thank Dan Reeves for mailing it to him. Ref. BILL BEERS- I spoke with Bill last night. He had spent the day at the hospital having a check-up from his surgery. He told me prior to surgery his left leg was only getting around 16% circulation. Now post-surgery he's getting around 96% and very happy with the improvement! Ref.: Steve Gerhardt- I spoke with Steve just now and he is home from rehab and the hospital. His spirits continue to remain high and regrets having to miss this year's reunion.

Ref. STEVE GERHARDT- I spoke with Steve today. His spirits were high as I informed him about our reunion. He told me that he'd planned on coming and really hated about what happened. He was very enthused about who all showed up and who didn't. Let's keep hoping and praying that his wish will come true that he'll go home this coming Friday! Good morning fellow REDLEGS, feeling better today, they removed the wound vac that was in my groin area, felt relief right away, could walk a little easier once it was removed. Received a card from Dan Reeves and the 17 th reg. It Picked my day up, almost ready to head to Gettysburg for our reunion, hope everyone that is going to our reunion as a safe trip there and returning to their homes after the reunion, don’t forget to bring a full wallet to bid on the auction, see you there in a few day, rounds out, rounds out 🇺🇸🦅

Re. Bill Beers- I spoke with Bill "Conway" Beers today. His spirits were up and he was on his way home with the help of his brother-in-law. He made it clear that he would see us all. next week. Pray for his continuing recovery.

Ref.: BILL BEERS- Bill called me tonight and told me his surgery went well, for the artery in his groin, he had for better circulation for his foot. Mike Dages's mother- I received the following email today from Dan Reeves pertaining our late member's mother.
"Just heard from Peggy Dages, widow of Mike Dages, her Mother in Law, Carolyn Dages, passed away peacefully this morning at her home. She was in her mid 90's. Ref: Steve Gerhardt: I spoke with Leigh today and she gave me a little encouraging news.
"Steve's spirits are positive and he's on the right path. Nicole texted me today that his doctor said that he may possibly be moving to rehap next week.
Nothing is for sure and my experience is to never count your chickens until they hatch, but at least they have a happy thought. Time will tell on it all."

Hi Richard,
Yes john is free of “cancer” thank God , he’s doing very well . So I would also just let people know that he went through a lot .. he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer but we had wonderful incredible doctors/ surgeons.. who removed the small area that was affected!! We are beyond happy because it is a nasty cancer, John was truly blessed in his survival! We have been through so much and still missing our son so much 🙁

Ref. BILL BEERS: I spoke with Bill this morning. His spirits were up and sounding like the 'old' Bill. He informed me that, "I'm going to have surgery again Thursday. This time it will be in in his groin area artery to open up a better flow of blood in his left leg." He sends his regards.

Ref.: Steve Gerhardt: I spoke with Nichole today (daughter) She said her dad has been moved out of ICU and PT has started. His biggest complaint was how painful his back was. He appreciates the "well wishes."

Update BILL BEERS: Bill left a message with me tonight that the toe has been amputated and is being left open to drain. He said that he's on an antibiotic and they will either close his foot up tomorrow or Thursday. He stated, "He'd see us in Sept."
Please remember all of the people, especially some of our members, that live in Louisiana. A lot have power out and a number of homes destroyed and I don't know if any have lost their lives or not. Please keep them in your prayers.
