CommentsI came across the Associations website in this months issue of the American Legion Magazine. I served in A Bty 2/17 FDC section from 9-66 to 9-67. I would like to hear from anyone that served during this time, especially if they fought with the goat, Action, and the CFB as much as I did.

CommentsThree entries above this one is an entry from Gene Johnson. Gene and I served together in A Battery 2/17 FDC during 1966 and 1967. When I saw his entry I immediately sent him an e-mail message. A couple days ago Gene called me. He had just finished speaking to our old XO, John Shanholtzer. We had a terrific conversation, the first of many to come. I want to thank all the people who have worked so hard to form and maintain this Association and this website. Without you this "reunion" and many others would not have happened. You have enriched our lives. Thank you.
CommentsHello I served in Vietnam with A Battery 2/17th Artillery from February 1966 to November 1967. I was in the Ammo section and later on the F/O team as radio operator and after that as Recon Sergeant. I would love to hear from any of my old buddies. Thanks Bruce

CommentsJust a quick note to say I'm ready for the Reunion in Colorado. Got my Flight Tickets & Reservations done.. This will be my 3rd Reunion and as always, I'm quit excited. Its so wonderful to see all my old friends from C Btry and always look forward to meeting new Vets. I wouldn't mind if we had a Reunion every 6 months. I'm directing this to the Guy's who haven't been to one of the Reunions yet, You Guy's have got to come. Its without a doubt a experience of a lifetime, short of going back to Nam. Looking forward to seeing everyone from previous Reunions and all the new People. I'm even bringing my Wife this trip and She's looking forward to meeting the other Wives.
