CommentsTo all the Vets of the 17th I just wanted to say thanks for the great time in Colorado Springs and as usual the Reunions keep getting better every year. Thank you for the fantastic memories and I'm already looking forward to next Summer at Ft Sill. Mike Burke C Btry 2/17th Vietnam
CommentsAs a Signal Officer I served in the 2/17 Arty in Viet Nam from Jul 67 to Jul 68 as the commo officer. We moved from the First Cav to First Field Forces during that time. Jerry Brown was the Comm Chief I served with. Would like to hear from anyone who was there.

CommentsSorry that I was not able to attend the reunion at Colorado Springs this year, but Norman Jones knows that I have been on the sick book now for over 2 years. I am eat up with the Agent Orange bug. I have maxed out the radiation that this old body can take (138 treatments), and now they are talking about chemo. Please keep in touch with me and if I am able to attend next year I will be there with bells on. I hope a bunch of Persauders were able to attend and I would like to hear from all Persauders if and when you get the time. Keep the steel on the target. HQS & C BTRY 1967-1968
CommentsThis year's reunion was my first, and I wanted to thank Norman Jones, Mike Burke, Rich Siebe and everyone else for all the time and work that went in to making it a great time. The trip to Ft. Carson was very interesting, what a change from what I trained on back in 1967-68. I was the only one from the 3/17, but I'm looking forward to next year's reunion at Ft. Sill and hoping that others from the 3/17 will be there. Larry Rice

CommentsI was in "Action" Btry from Sept. 69 to Jun. 70. Started out on Gun #2 at LZ Action and after a couple of months transferred to F.O. section. Moved down to Nha Trang and eventually became Chief of the FO Section before going home 1 Jul 70. Just ran into this site yesterday. I pulled out my musty slides a couple of days ago and showed them to my kids for the first time (my oldest is 21). I saw a lot of foggy faces that I struggled to put names on, but I just wanted to say "Hi!"
